Although seemingly there to help halt the spread of the T-virus infection and evacuate any survivors from the worst affected areas (Umbrella employees were to take priority, and members were encouraged to use regular civilians as decoys or human shields if their situation became dire), the Umbrella Corporation's true motives involved using the unit as cannon fodder for their Bio-Organic Weapons (B.O.W.), (particularly the Nemesis and Hunter models), as well as any other irregular creatures that resulted from infection during the outbreak. =Involvement in the Raccoon City incident= The unit consists of about 120 operatives, divided between four platoons (with two or three squads per platoon). as an alternative to capital punishment for any crimes they may have been caught committing. is comprised almost exclusively of convicted war criminals and mercenaries from around the world who joined the U.B.C.S. has been very successful in every operation but one, the unit suffers a high mortality rate due to the hazardous nature of their missions.

Welcome to Raccoon City, the upcoming reboot has one thing. But even by those standards, the Resident Evil movies were horrific. Sure, we expect video game movies to suck. Justice League (2017) was one of the most expensive movies ever made, but I think we can all agree that it looked pretty cheap. It might have been expensive, but just throwing money at things doesn’t always work. But the visual effects were pretty poor too. Just watch Monster Hunter if you don’t believe me.ĭefenders of these films may refer to the scene they presented. It was as if Anderson was developing backwards as a creative person. The characters in the original series, even those not played by Jovovich, were generic and thinly written. #UMBRELLA CORPS WEAPONS MOVIE#
Many say it’s impossible to make a good Resident Evil movie because the basic premise of the franchise is so cliched. The Resident Evil film series was creatively bankrupt, and featured starring Jovovich Mile, an actress who wouldn’t show any emotion if her life depended on it. However, I don’t hold out much hope, because the original films burned me. It promises a more faithful adaptation of the source video game series. The new movie takes a different approach.
